It's official the rumors are over regarding the new red iPhone. On March 21st, along with their announcement about the new video app clips, Apple has dropped a special edition red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus as part of its (PRODUCT) RED line.
The new red aluminum finish will be available worldwide beginning this Friday, March 24, in two models, 128GB and 256GB. The prices are the same as similar models of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, and start at $749.
In addition to the red iPhones and clips, Apple has also announced a new and much more affordable iPad. The 9.7-inch model will be available starting at just $329 in three colors: silver, gold, and space gray. It has up to 10 hours of battery life and a crystal-clear Retina display. I can't wait to see the difference in size and camera/video ability, since I am a youtuber and beauty influencer (www.youtube.com/dearnatural62)
This past December marked the 10-year anniversary of RED, the organization founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver with the goal of fighting AIDS. Every purchase contributes to the Global Fund Support HIV/AIDS programs and help delivers an AIDS-free generation.
Now Apple stores have joined in the efforts with prior RED-themed merchandise, including red cases, and by turning stores red every year on World AIDS Day, December 1. Something beautiful to stay tune to and see.
