As a natural hair girl, I sometimes use additional hair for the purpose of a protective hair style as seen in the picture above. I'm a huge fan of a big bun with a head wrap or flowers, you guys know I love my flowers.

FYI, I've found that the constant manipulation of my hair isn't good. Sometimes my hair needs to just rest in a protective hair style for a few days. Currently my hair length is at bra strap length but I am thinking about doing another mini big chop.

I did a mini big chop of about 6 inches more than 7 months ago and it's something I do from time to time. I've been natural for more then 5 years now and it's the best decision I ever made for myself and my lifestyle.
