Instagram unveiled their brand new and sleeker version of their logo. The new logo features a sunset-inspired palette with swirls of orange, pink, yellow, purple, and white outlines.  Inspired by the previous app icon, the new one represents a simpler camera and the rainbow lives on a gradient form.  The Instagram community has evolved over the past five years from a place to share filtered photos to so much more — a global community of interests sharing more than 80 million photos and videos every day. If you haven't done so already, please update your Instagram account to get all the new features.

We saw some hints that the Facebook-owned app was testing a pretty dramatic redesign, and early peeks at the new layout were universally praised by users. It looks like the redesign was so well-received that Instagram decided to move forward, and the new design is now available to all iPhone users.

6. Use apps like Facetune, Instaflash, PicsArt, etc to enhance your pics
7. Use Instagram Video, especially now that you can upload 60 sec videos
8. Use your profile section as a call to action, with your other social media links
9. Try to get featured by popular Instagrammers
10. Cross promote similar accounts to gain new followers
